Hi, my name is Dwi

I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. I graduated cum laude from Universitas Gadjah Mada (Indonesia) with a Bachelor of Food and Agricultural Product Technology.

I received my M.Sc. from Katholieke Hogeschool Sint-Lieven in Belgium, Dublin Institute of Technology in Ireland, Universidade Catolica Portuguesa in Portugal, and Hochschule Anhalt in Germany under the frame of European Master of Science in Food Science, Technology and Nutrition (SEFOTECHNUT).

I received my doctoral degree in field of food sensory and consumer research at the Department of Food Science, Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen. My research is focused on consumer perception on Indonesian traditional food. The results of my research were presented at some conferences.

During my bachelor study, I worked at Universitas Gadjah Mada for 4 years as a person in charge of laboratory work in some courses. Finishing master, I worked at a chocolate industry for several months as a person in charge of Research and Development and Quality Control. The company launched 4 new products and 3 ready-to-be-launched products under my work. Currently, I am a lecturer at the Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. I am a member of reviewer of a national food science journal (AGRITECH) and an internal auditor of ISO 9001:2008 accredited to Faculty of Agricultural Technology, UGM. I am also the treasurer of the Indonesian Association of Food Technologist (PATPI).
